How to delete your GeoAnime account and data

1. Delete in the app or on the website (if you are logged in with Google)

1. Open the GeoAnime app or https://geoanime.net/en/ .
2. On the start screen, check that you are logged in with Google (it shows “Logged in: your nickname”).
3. Press “Menu” next to your nickname, then “Delete account” → “Really delete (your record and name will be erased)”.

Your account is deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

2. Ask by email (if you cannot use the app)

If you cannot use the app or the website, email [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion” from the email address of the Google account you log in with. After confirming that the request is yours, we will delete your account within 30 days and let you know by email.

3. Data that is deleted

• Your account (the link to your Google account, your email address and Google name)
• Your nickname
• Your game records (where and when you answered, and your scores), streaks, and GeoAnime Pro random and feature rounds
• Your Clan Battle group membership and what you wrote in group chats (if you own a group, ownership passes to another member)
• GeoAnime Pro (Stripe) auto-renewal is stopped before deletion

4. Data that is kept

• Colors you placed on the Clan Battle canvas remain as colors without an owner.
• Question reports may be kept, without identifying who sent them, to fix questions.
• Payment records remain with Stripe as required by law and Stripe’s rules.
• Server access logs may remain for a while under the rules of our service providers (Supabase, Cloudflare).

5. If you are not logged in

Records from playing without logging in belong to a temporary account tied only to that device (app or browser). If you uninstall the app or clear the app’s or browser’s data, those records can no longer be used. Temporary accounts that have not been used for a long time may be deleted by the operator.
