GeoAnime Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses GeoAnime (“the game”). By using the game, you agree to these terms.

2. The game

We provide daily questions, scores, streaks, a ranking, Clan Battle (a shared canvas, groups and chat) and more. We may change the content, or suspend the game temporarily or for a long time, without notice.

The game may show advertisements. See “Advertising and cookies” in the privacy policy for how ads are handled.

3. Accounts

You can play without logging in. Logging in with a Google account lets you appear in the ranking and keep your records on other devices. You are responsible for managing your Google account.

4. Paid service (GeoAnime Pro)

• What you get: missed days, random and themed sets, a Pro-only ranking and more. Pro members see no ads. The content may change.
• Price: ¥800 for the monthly plan and ¥6,000 for the yearly plan (both tax included). Payment is by credit card, processed by Stripe.
• Auto-renewal: the plan renews automatically every month or year until you cancel, and you pay at each renewal.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. After canceling you will not be charged from the next renewal date, and you can keep using Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds: because this is a digital service, we do not give refunds after payment or prorated refunds for cancellations in the middle of a period. If you could not use Pro because of a problem on our side, we will refund the period you could not use or extend your membership.
• Price changes: if we change the price, we will announce it in the game in advance, and the new price applies from the next renewal after the announcement.
• If you delete your account: auto-renewal stops. The remaining period is not refunded.
• If you are a minor, please get permission from a parent or guardian before signing up.

5. Names in the ranking

The following names are not allowed. The operator may change or delete them.

• Names containing offensive, discriminatory, sexual or violent words
• Names that impersonate other people or the operator
• Names containing personal information such as a real name, address or contact details

6. Clan Battle canvas, groups and chat

Do not draw or write the following on the canvas, in group names or in the chat. The operator may delete or disable drawings, groups or messages that break this rule.

• Anything offensive, discriminatory, sexual or violent
• Anything that impersonates other people or the operator
• Personal information such as real names, addresses or contact details (yours or anyone else’s)
• Advertising or invitations to other sites

7. Prohibited actions

• Cheating to gain points or rank, such as answering automatically with a program
• Using multiple accounts to manipulate the ranking
• Putting a heavy load on the servers or interfering with the game
• Bothering other people, or breaking the law or public order and morals

8. If you break these terms

We may delete or disable your records, ranking entries or account.

9. About the works

The hints and explanations are written by the operator. Rights to titles, characters and other elements of each work belong to their respective owners. This game is not official content of any of these works.

10. Visiting real-world locations

Please do not disturb the people who live there, and do not enter schools that are still in use or private property.

11. Liability

We try to keep questions and explanations accurate, but we cannot promise accuracy, uninterrupted service, or that records will never be lost. The operator is not liable for damages related to the game except where caused by the operator’s intent or negligence.

12. Changes

If we change these terms, we will announce it on this page.

13. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the district court with jurisdiction over the operator’s address.
